On November 24, 2023, St. Mary’s Academy of Palo (SMAP) has successfully conducted its First Quarter Portfolio Day for the S.Y. 2023-2024.
Publication ran a few interviews with the parents of the Ignacian Marian students about their feedback or reaction to the grades of their child.
St. Mary’s Academy of Palo Inc., celebrated the culmination of the United Nations and the Holy Rosary Month through Living Rosary which was held on Thursday, October 26 at the Marian grounds.
Serving as the rosary beads, the event was participated by the representatives from each section for the Ramp of Nations along with the representatives of each section for the Mother Mary look-a-like.
In connection with the theme "Ignacian Marians: Embracing Mary as the Mother of Christ's Missionary Disciples and Queen of Missions in the Spirit of Synodality", St. Mary's Academy of Palo Inc. held the Ramp of Nations during the culmination of the month of the Most Holy Rosary and United Nations Month last October 25, 2023 at the Marian Ground.
As the Ramp of Nations began, the representatives performed their best for the production number, which was followed by the introduction of their country as they walked down their costume.
On October 18, 2023. CONGRATULATIONS to our dear Ignacian Marian Students who just recently competed the Quiz Bee, organized by the Local Government Unit of Palo in relation to the celebration of the 79th Leyte Landing Anniversary.
The whole community of St. Mary's Academy of Palo is so proud for winning as the over-all champion of the said event.

St. Mary’s Academy of Palo, Inc., conducted an unannounced earthquake drill earlier this month, on Friday, October 13.
This was to ensure the readiness and alertness of the Ignacian Marian students when it comes to natural disasters, especially those that could happen at any given moment.
With the assistance of the Medics Organizations, the said drill was made successful along with the participation of the Ignacian Marian Community.
On September 29, 2023 St. Mary's Academy of Palo Inc. (SMAP) conducts eco runway competition for all grade levels, Creating Prototype using Arduino and VEX IQ competition during the culmination of Math, Science, and Computer month with the theme, "Ignacian Marians: Unleashing Innovation and Creativity for the Challenges of the 21st Century."
On September 1, 2023 St. Mary's Academy of Palo celebrated The Holy Spirit Mass for the First Friday of the month at the Parish of our Lord’s Transfiguration with the mass presider, Rev. Msgr. Gilbert Urbina.
The Mass was followed by the Oath Taking of the Supreme Student Councils (SSC), classroom officers, together with the club officers for this academic year. The oath taking was led by the SSC President, Russel Marasigan.
St. Mary’s Academy of Palo celebrated its Acquaintance Party last week, September 1, 2023 at the school grounds. It was celebrated along with the culmination of the Buwan ng Wika and the Holy Spirit Mass.
Joy is seen in the faces of the Ignacian Marian students after celebrating the long awaited acquaintance party after not having been able to celebrate it for the past 3 years due to the Pandemic.
On August 25, 2023 St. Mary’s Academy of Palo held different activities and competitions throughout the campus to celebrate the Buwan ng Wika.
Competitions such as the Tagisan ng Talino and Paligsahan sa Pagbaybay were held at the SMAP Library while the Spoken Word Poetry Competition and the Paggawa ng Poster at Islogan were held at the Marian Hall.
The different clubs of the school were seen in action on August 25, 2023. The school campus was flooded with students going on and about with the activities of their respective clubs.

On August 14, 2023 St. Mary’s Academy of Palo held its first day of classes for the school year 2023-2024 along with the opening celebration of the Buwan ng Wika. With the first week of classes intended for the orientation, regular classes will start on August 22, 2023.
On August 15, 2023, St. Mary’s Academy of Palo Inc. celebrated the Solemnity of Assumption of the Virgin Mary at the Palo Metropolitan Cathedral with Rev. Fr. Rodolfo Barro as the Mass Presider.
“Life after Death” was the theme of the Homily. The RVM Sisters had their Devotional Renewal of Vows and the SMAP Personnel for their Renewal of Commitment for SY 2023-2024.
